Coming off of another successful year, Chase Elliott is entering his fifth full-time season at stock car racing’s top level for Hendrick Motorsports. Already a second-generation NASCAR champion, Elliott’s three victories in 2019 catapulted him to his fourth consecutive playoff berth. In addition, he was voted the NASCAR Cup Series most popular driver for the second consecutive season.
Having enjoyed consistent success with a variety of drivers, from veterans to rookies, Alan Gustafson is one of the most versatile and accomplished crew chiefs in stock car racing. The 2020 NASCAR Cup season marks his 16th as a crew chief for Hendrick Motorsports and fifth with driver Chase Elliott, the series’ 2018 and 2019 most popular driver and 2016 rookie of the year.
